Our Policy

For your shopping convenience, take advantage of MaLady's Poetry Shopping Cart. We require payment upfront for all orders; this includes artwork and custom framing for which we will provide you with project specifics and text drafts as well as an approximate shipping date. Please check emails associated with payment for project expedition.

A good many of our items ship from us within 24 hours (first class mail) if only personalization is required such as recipient's name and date of event. Certificates and pre-printed poems generally fit in this category. Because your gift of poetry is personalized NO refunds or credits are issued; however, we will make every effort to send you away happy.

Pricing

You may choose from one to six stanzas for poems, vows, toasts, invitation verse, etc. Poetry is $9 per stanza (paragraph of 4 lines). In addition, we include a small fee of $2.50 for printing and stationery. Embellished keepsake cards run $2.99 for printing and stationery. Ex. A limerick (5 lines) is $12. Acrostic first-name poems are $18-25 depending on the length of the name. We furnish businesses with Christmas cards and store-front poems at the same rates. Our standard 11x14 custom framing is available at an additional cost for a modest fee with fast turnaround, generally, within 2-3 days of $69.99 (unless otherwise stated) + S&H. To print your poem in lieu of ours, we charge $39 to include layout, printing, and stationery. For other frame sizes or custom artwork to accompany poetry, we will email you a quote. All currency is $US.

Shipping

Within the US, printed poems on stationery and certificates are mailed first-class mail. Custom-framed parcels and artwork are shipped both US Priority Mail (2-3 days) and USPS ground (5 days), depending on your deadline and budget. International, custom, and rush shipments may vary with shipping dates and rates.

Poem Status

Stay on top of your order! If you have commissioned us to write a new poem, please check the email account associated with the payment of your order as we email you within 24 hours with project details. Depending on our workload, you will preview your draft in approximately 2-6 days before shipment. Edits can be made at this time. It is your responsibility to check in on your order status. If we hear no response from you within ten (10) business days concerning your poem, we will have no choice but to print and ship your order after this time period has lapsed without affording you a draft or edits. And if any edits were in order on your part because we were unable to reach you, you will be billed for the reprinting of your order as well as S&H.

Artwork

We offer custom artwork for any theme or subject in a variety of mediums (pencils, watercolors, acrylics, black pen & ink, etc.) to illustrate our commissioned poetry or your poem submission. Price varies with project. Allow 1-2 weeks turnaround time.

Custom Framing

Do you want to see your own poem in print or a favorite verse or inspirational quote custom framed? Not only do we offer the custom framing of our poetry but we provide the printing and framing of your poem with fast service and at an affordable price.

Inquiries

Feel free to submit an inquiry for a poem category you can not find or a project such as artwork or custom framing you wish us to take on. If placing an inquiry, we will email you a quote along with an optional payment link and an anticipated date to preview your project. No work commences until payment.

MaLady's Poetry retains the copyright on each poem and custom-made layout; however, we will display your name as the sender along with a personal closing, e.g., With love, Mom and Dad. NO poems or images may be borrowed or removed from this site, linked to image galleries, or posted in blogs! Contents, images, and poetry of this website are our own original, copyright work with all rights reserved. In addition, any poetry or photos submitted by clients for custom framing purposes, art illustration, or poem display are the sole property of its respective owner and protected under copyright laws.

Privacy

Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us! We accept major credit cards via Paypal. We have no access to your credit card information other than for billing and shipping purposes. If you are a Paypal member, never give your password out to anyone even if prompted to do so! Official Paypal correspondence always addresses you by YOUR NAME--not 'Dear Paypal Member.' And Paypal never asks you for your password! If in doubt, log onto your Paypal account. Any information you provide to this website is treated confidentially and will not be sold or traded to other merchants or directories--our pledge to you!
