BIOGRAPHY
Where
Do Lilies Feed -JD Cochran
Proud
of her Southern heritage and strong women forebears,
Susan
Annabelle Crowe
is committed to expressing her own passion for life
while helping others to commemorate theirs. Her
interest in the poetic arts coalesced after completing
creative writing and literary segments as a returning
college student. Since 2001, Susan has been
licensed as a business, specializing in poetry for all
occasions. When not creating words to enhance
other people's memories, she composes for her own
pleasure, mostly in structured poetry genres such
as the sonnet, rictameter, etheree, etc.
Some of her nature poems such as "Miss Lily
White" have appeared in anthologies, classrooms,
and chapbooks. TALES
FLOWERS TELL, her illustrated collection of
poems of personified flowers (bearing the endearing
titles of "Miss Lily White," "Daisy's
Song," "Let Bella Bloom"), has been
released for publication and is available for purchase
online as well as bookstores. Asked to choose her
favorite poets, Susan reluctantly narrows her choice to
Sarojini Naidu, Thomas Moore, and William Wordsworth.
She draws her truest inspiration from the spiritual,
poetic passages of the Song of Solomon, her
favorite book of the bible and is a member of a society
of poets. Susan, a mother of two and grandmother of
three, currently resides in Augusta, Georgia, with
Canadian husband, Terry and their cat, Tibby. |
